About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Vendor Manager to play a key role in a major enterprise-wide digital transformation program.
This position is responsible for managing complex vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring governance, compliance, performance outcomes, and value for money across a high-profile technology project.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including large international providers, you will drive contract performance, mitigate risks, and support the successful delivery of critical project objectives.

Key Responsibilities As the Vendor Manager, you will:
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of contractual obligations, milestones, service levels, and key deliverables.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for contract interpretation and contractual matters.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive contract registers and monitor compliance across all parties.
  • Manage contract changes, including negotiations, change requests, approvals, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Administer vendor performance frameworks, including service level monitoring and performance reviews.
  • Manage contractual risk, compliance obligations, and formal delay management processes.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Support governance processes and ensure quality outcomes are delivered within project timeframes.
To be successful in this role, you will bring significant experience in vendor and contract management within large-scale IT, technology, digital transformation or complex project environments.

About you:
  • Extensive experience managing vendors and complex commercial contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale technology, digital transformation, or IT project delivery environments.
  • Strong ability to interpret contractual terms and provide practical advice to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience ensuring contract compliance, mitigating risk, and delivering value-for-money outcomes.
  • Experience managing vendor performance, service levels, and contractual obligations.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Experience resolving complex vendor issues and achieving positive commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
