We are seeking experienced Longhole Drill Operators to join our underground mining team. This is a permanent opportunity offering competitive pay and consistent rosters, FIFO available from any major Australian city.
What’s on offer:
- $800 – $1,175 per 12-hour shift(based on experience)
- Permanent, full-time position
- FIFO from major cities across Australia

- Modern underground fleet and well-established site
- Operate longhole drill rigs in underground production environments
- Drill production rings to design specifications
- Conduct pre-starts and basic maintenance
- Work closely with engineers and supervisors to achieve production targets
- Maintain safe and efficient operating practices underground
- Proven experience operating longhole drill rigs(e.g. Sandvik, Epiroc)
- Previous underground mining experience essential
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a FIFO roster
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
- Accurate drilling of production holes
- Ground awareness and hazard management
- Maintaining drill performance and uptime
- Reporting faults and assisting with troubleshooting
