Trade Assistant Opportunity – Day Shift
Pay Rate:$36ph
Location: Tennyson, QLD
Start time: 6am - 2pm
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join a busy maintenance team based in Tennyson. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, and is willing to support tradespeople when required.

- Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm

- General cleaning and housekeeping of maintenance workshop areas
- Assembly of metal shelving using basic hand tools
- Moving and relocating spare parts throughout the site
- Sorting, organising, and cataloguing inventory
- Labelling spare parts and equipment
- Basic data entry using Excel and maintenance systems
- Basic painting using brushes and rollers
- Assisting fitters and tradespeople as required
- Relocating unwanted materials, pallets, and waste to designated skip bins
- General labouring and workshop support duties
- Previous experience in a Trade Assistant, Labourer, Warehouse, or Maintenance support role
- Comfortable working with hand tools
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic computer skills, including data entry
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
