Growth creates opportunity.
Polyfoam is a well-established and profitable manufacturing business supplying expanded polystyrene products to the construction, produce, seafood and packaging sectors across Queensland.
As Polyfoam continues to invest in its people, operational performance and future success, an opportunity has emerged for an experienced State Manager to lead the Queensland operation and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the State Manager will provide leadership across manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, quality, customer service and administration.
The foundations of the business are strong. The products, people and customer base are established. The opportunity now is to further strengthen leadership capability across the operation, ensuring managers and supervisors are empowered to make decisions, take ownership and lead their teams with confidence.
You will be the type of leader who can walk into an established operation, take the time to understand what works, build credibility with key stakeholders and implement practical improvements that strengthen communication, leadership effectiveness and overall business performance.
Success in this role will come from your ability to lead through others, developing capable managers and supervisors who take ownership of outcomes and drive performance within their own teams.
This role will suit an experienced manufacturing leader who can balance operational performance with people leadership while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
