Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to join a Tier 1 mining organisation and influence high-value commercial outcomes?
We are seeking a Category Specialist to support strategic sourcing, tendering, contract management and supplier relationship management across a diverse portfolio of mining services categories.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end sourcing and tendering activities
- Developing and implementing category management strategies
- Managing high-value and high-risk contracts
- Driving strong supplier relationship management outcomes
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial value
- Supporting procurement governance, compliance and risk management
- Analysing procurement data to identify opportunities and improve performance
- 5+ years' procurement, sourcing or category management experience
- Strong contract negotiation and commercial management capability
- Experience within mining, resources, energy, infrastructure or heavy industry
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- Knowledge of procurement governance, tendering and strategic sourcing methodologies
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law or similar (desirable)
