Expression of Interest - Specialist Asset Health Operational Readiness

The Specialist HCM/CM Operations Readiness is responsible for ensuring Hydrocarbon Management (HCM) and Condition Monitoring (CM) requirements are effectively integrated into sustaining capital, growth and major project delivery to enable safe, reliable and maintainable asset handover to operations.

This role provides technical leadership, governance and assurance across project lifecycles, ensuring lubrication, contamination control, condition monitoring, asset health and operational readiness requirements are identified early and embedded into asset designs, commissioning plans and operational preparations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as the HCM and CM technical subject matter expert for capital and improvement projects, supporting project teams from concept through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop, review and govern HCM and CM tactics, standards, monitoring requirements and assurance processes for new and modified assets.
  • Ensure operational readiness activities adequately address lubrication systems, contamination control, oil analysis, fuel quality management, condition monitoring technologies, maintenance strategies and supporting work processes.
  • Participate in design reviews, maintainability reviews, commissioning readiness reviews and asset handover activities to ensure assets are fit for purpose and capable of achieving expected reliability outcomes.
  • Provide technical assurance and coaching to site maintenance, reliability, engineering and operations teams regarding HCM and CM requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, OEMs, contractors, laboratories and operational stakeholders to embed best-practice asset health and hydrocarbon management requirements into project delivery.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of asset health, condition monitoring and hydrocarbon management frameworks, standards and tools.
Measures of Success
  • Successful integration of HCM and CM requirements into project scope, design, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Improved asset readiness and reduced early-life asset failures.
  • Improved lubrication, contamination control and condition monitoring compliance on newly commissioned assets.
  • Positive operational handover outcomes and stakeholder feedback from Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
  • Reduction in asset health risks associated with project delivery and asset transitions.
About you

An asset health or reliability professional with strong experience in Hydrocarbon Management, Condition Monitoring, Reliability Engineering and Operational Readiness. The successful candidate will be capable of influencing project teams and operational stakeholders to deliver sustainable asset performance outcomes across RTIO's major asset portfolio. This role combines elements of project support, operational readiness, hydrocarbon management governance and asset health strategy deployment.
