We are partnering with a major government organisation undertaking a large-scale workforce management transformation program.
As part of this enterprise-wide initiative, they are implementing UKG Pro WFM to streamline rostering, timekeeping, leave management and workforce processes across a large and complex operational environment.
We are seeking an experienced UKG Pro WFM Functional Implementation Lead to play a key role in the successful delivery of this high-profile program.
This position will suit a senior UKG specialist with a strong background leading functional workstreams, managing Business Analysts and delivering workforce management implementations within complex enterprise environments.
About the Role
Reporting to the Enterprise Rostering Lead, you will be responsible for leading the functional implementation stream, driving solution design activities and ensuring business requirements are successfully translated into a fit-for-purpose UKG Pro WFM solution.
You will act as the functional subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders through requirements gathering, design workshops, testing, deployment readiness and business adoption activities.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, architects, testing specialists and change professionals to deliver a best-practice workforce management solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UKG Pro WFM functional implementation workstream.
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts.
- Drive business and functional requirements gathering across workforce management processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and solution design sessions.
- Provide expert advice on UKG Pro WFM functionality and best practice.
- Oversee the completion of UKG design workbooks, functional specifications and supporting documentation.
- Translate requirements into BRDs, FSDs and user stories.
- Coordinate testing activities including UAT preparation and business sign-off.
- Collaborate with technical, integration and change teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Monitor risks, dependencies and workstream deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to improve workforce management processes and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience delivering UKG Pro WFM, Kronos or comparable workforce management implementations.
- Strong leadership experience managing Business Analysts and functional delivery teams.
- Extensive experience across business analysis, solution implementation or workforce management projects.
- Deep knowledge of UKG Pro WFM modules including:
- Timekeeping
- Scheduling and Rostering
- Leave Management
- Accruals
- Activities
- Forecasting
- Payroll Integrations
- Experience configuring UKG solutions within Australian industrial relations frameworks, including Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in large, complex and fast-paced project environments.
- UKG Pro WFM certifications will be highly regarded.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and may be required to successfully obtain and maintain a National Security Clearance.
