Chandler Macleod - Senior Recruitment Consultant

Are you an experienced recruiter with a strong background in industrial or high-volume workforce solutions? Chandler Macleod is seeking a driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to support and grow our Industrial Portfolio.
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment delivery, build strong client partnerships, and contribute to commercial outcomes while fostering a safe, compliant, and values-driven culture.


About the Role
Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Senior Recruitment Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes across the Industrial Portfolio.
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, maintain strong client relationships, and play a key role in ensuring service excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency across your desk.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment delivery, from job brief through to offer and placement
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service reviews
  • Deliver high-volume and/or specialised industrial recruitment outcomes in line with client needs
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with Chandler Macleod policies, WHS requirements, and QA standards
  • Apply the Chandler Macleod Risk Management Framework to all recruitment processes
  • Provide strong safety focus when engaging with industrial client environments
  • Identify and act on opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business development
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and ensure data integrity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and raising improvement ideas
  • Support and mentor junior consultants or administrators where required

About You
You will bring:
 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment or a senior role within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (industrial recruitment, labour hire, call centre, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage a busy recruitment desk and deliver against KPIs and service levels
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to compliance and safety
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and broader business
