Senior Project Manager to join Rio Tinto’s Amrun Haul Road Project in Weipa. You’ll lead the delivery of haul road (self-perform) and major culvert and civil works (subcontract) in a complex mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery, contractors & subcontractors
- Manage QA, safety, compliance & site inspections
- Oversee procurement, tendering & planning
- Drive cost tracking, forecasting & scheduling
- Monitor production, KPIs & project performance
- Identify risks and ensure environmental plan implementation
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years in project leadership roles
- Experience delivering major civil projects (haul roads, earthworks, tailings, etc.)
- Strong in contractor management & project controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
