About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project professional to manage building, civil and infrastructure projects while working with a wide range of stakeholders and contractors. 

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of capital projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required standards. Projects may include building upgrades, civil infrastructure, roads, parks, drainage and public space improvements. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, design and delivery of capital works projects.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation and oversee procurement processes.
  • Monitor budgets, project schedules, risks and contract performance.
  • Undertake site inspections and project meetings.
  • Prepare progress, financial and project completion reports.
  • Drive project quality, safety and compliance outcomes. 
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering complex capital works or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong contract management, procurement and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment. 
What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive knowledge of construction, building or civil project management practices.
  • Experience managing contractors and consultants.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability.
  • High level leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management systems and relevant software.
