What You Will Do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project control plans for decarbonisation projects spanning renewable energy, carbon capture, and sustainable infrastructure.
- Monitor project performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation effectively.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators that support executive decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements in project controls.
- Proven experience in project controls, project management, or a similar role within large-scale infrastructure, energy, or decarbonisation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in renewable energy, carbon capture technology, or sustainability initiatives.
- Familiarity with DEI (Decarbonisation, Energy Transition, Innovation) policies and standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and funding mechanisms in decarbonisation projects.
- Advanced certifications in project controls or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project controls, with at least 3 years focused on decarbonisation or energy transition projects.
- Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and stakeholder meetings.
- Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., AACE International, PMI) are highly desirable.
