Location: Booragoon Office with travel to Pinjarra Refinery & Huntly Mine (1–2 days per week)
Rate:$100–$130 per hour + Superannuation (Depending on experience)
Contract Duration: 12 months with strong likelihood of extension (major project pipeline forecast over 5 years)

Join a major long-term water infrastructure project supporting mining operations in WA. This is not a Project Manager role and not a detailed design role. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical & Piping Engineer to provide technical leadership, design assurance and oversight of engineering consultants delivering design packages.

You will have:
- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer
- 10+ years' mechanical & piping engineering experience
- Strong experience with pumps, valves, tanks, pressure systems and piping networks
- Ability to review P&IDs, piping layouts, materials selection and engineering deliverables
- Design assurance and consultant (ESP/EPCM) management experience
- Construction, commissioning and handover support experience
- Mining, mineral processing, alumina, water treatment or heavy industrial project experience
- Mining, mineral processing, alumina or water infrastructure project experience, CPEng, HAZOP and constructability review exposure.
