Senior Hydrogeologist | Tier 1 Mining | Perth CBD

Join a Tier 1 mining company and play a key role in delivering major brownfield and greenfield projects across a diverse portfolio of WA mining operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to work within a high-performing projects team, supporting groundwater investigations, water supply studies, borefield development, hydrogeological assessments, regulatory approvals and water management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead hydrogeological investigations and groundwater assessments
  • Support water supply, dewatering and groundwater management studies
  • Plan and manage drilling programs, bore installations and aquifer testing
  • Analyse groundwater quality and quantity data
  • Contribute to borefield and water infrastructure design
  • Prepare technical reports, approvals documentation and risk assessments
  • Provide technical advice across engineering, environmental and project teams
About You
  • Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
  • 6+ years' experience in hydrogeology and/or water resource management
  • Strong experience with hydrogeological investigations and groundwater assessments
  • Proficient with GIS, with exposure to groundwater modelling software highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Full Australian working rights required
