Senior FP&A Business Partner
Location: Artarmon, NSW
Employment Type: Casual Contract (Full-Time Hours)
Duration: ASAP Start | Initial Contract Through to December

An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior FP&A Business Partner to join a leading organisation within the mining and resources sector. This role plays a critical part in financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, business partnering and delivering commercial insights that support key business decisions.

About the Role Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modelling and performance insights while driving continuous improvement initiatives across FP&A processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end FP&A reporting and financial consolidation activities
  • Deliver executive-level performance reporting and commentary
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses
  • Provide insights into revenue, margin, cost, headcount and cash performance
  • Support strategic initiatives through commercial and financial analysis
  • Drive reporting automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and operations
  • Support SAP S/4HANA planning and reporting activities
  • Ensure strong governance, controls and data integrity across reporting cycles
About You
  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
  • CA, CPA or CIMA qualification preferred
  • Extensive FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance experience
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis capability
  • Advanced financial modelling skills
  • Strong SAP S/4HANA experience
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and automation
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to influence senior business leaders and operate in complex environments
