Join a Tier 1 Mining Company and help deliver major renewable energy and decarbonisation projects that are shaping the future of sustainable mining operations.
Reporting to the Lead Design Engineer, you will lead the civil engineering scope across project phases from concept through detailed design and construction support. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, manage specialist consultants, and ensure high-quality, practical engineering solutions are delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and review civil designs including bulk earthworks, drainage, site development, access roads and pavements.
- Manage external engineering consultants and specialist design packages.
- Coordinate interfaces across civil, electrical, structural, geotechnical and environmental disciplines.
- Support procurement, construction and field engineering activities.
- Review technical documentation, standards and design deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience delivering civil designs for major infrastructure, mining, energy or industrial projects.
- Strong experience in earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements and site development.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering best practices.
- Renewable energy, solar or wind project experience highly regarded.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Work with a leading mining organisation driving decarbonisation initiatives.
- Exposure to large-scale renewable energy projects.
