Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (Civil) PO4 for a short-term contract opportunity with a Queensland Government client.
Working within the Asset Management team, you will provide technical advice and engineering expertise to support the effective management of state-controlled road infrastructure. This role has a strong focus on asset management, road infrastructure assessments, road safety programs, signs and delineation, active transport initiatives, and supporting the design, construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of road infrastructure and recommend engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical reports and provide engineering advice to stakeholders.
- Support the planning, design, construction and maintenance of road infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimise whole-of-life asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, legislation and quality requirements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery of road safety, rehabilitation and infrastructure improvement programs.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Current RPEQ registration.
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Ability to undertake criminal history screening.
This opportunity would suit candidates with experience in road infrastructure, asset management, maintenance and rehabilitation programs, transport infrastructure delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
