We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Catering Attendant to join our client's airline catering team.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery who enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality catering services to the aviation industry.
About the Role
Working within a busy airline catering operation, you will support daily food production and equipment preparation while ensuring all quality, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and packing catering equipment for airline services
- Assisting with fast-paced food preparation and meal assembly
- Following food safety and quality procedures
- Working efficiently to meet strict production deadlines and operational requirements
- Supporting the wider catering team to ensure on-time service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Recent and relevant experience in food manufacturing, catering, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environments
- Proven understanding of food hygiene practices and quality standards
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Physical capability to undertake repetitive manual handling duties
- A strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Initiative, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and National Police Clearance
- Flexibility to work day shifts across a rotating 7-day roster
- Reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights and immediate availability
- Consistent 7:30am starts
