About the Role
As Senior Archivist, you will provide strategic leadership and expert advice across records and information management, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team, drive governance initiatives, oversee records management activities, and support project delivery in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a records management team.
- Provide expert advice on records, information, document, content and data management.
- Develop and implement information governance frameworks and processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant records management legislation and standards.
- Manage risks, issues, reporting and stakeholder engagement across the project.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefings and communications.
- Significant experience in records and information management.
- Strong knowledge of Victorian records and information legislation and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated people leadership and project management capability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in records management, information management or a related field.
