About the role
Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Rostering Coordinator to join a well-established community services organisation based in Port Macquarie. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role responsible for coordinating staff rosters, scheduling services, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to clients within aged care and disability services.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, solutions-focused, and thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly. You will act as a key point of contact for support workers, clients, and families, ensuring services are delivered efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Duties
• Coordinate and manage daily rosters and schedules for support workers across community-based services
• Match support workers to client needs, preferences, and geographical locations
• Manage workforce availability, shift allocations, and last-minute roster changes
• Respond promptly to rostering requests and service schedule amendments
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all data is entered correctly into rostering systems
• Participate in an after-hours on-call roster as required
Skills and Experience
• Previous experience in rostering and scheduling within a fast-paced environment is essential
• Experience within the NDIS sector is highly regarded
• Strong administration and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively under pressure
• Current NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
