We are seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting production by ensuring materials, components, and stock are available when needed.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the realities of a manufacturing environment — lead times, stock pressure, production demands, and supplier performance.

About the Role

This role focuses on ensuring continuity of supply into a live production environment. You will be responsible for purchasing materials, managing stock levels, and working closely with production to prevent disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Management
  • Raise purchase orders aligned to production schedules
  • Track orders and ensure materials arrive on time
  • Work with suppliers to manage lead times and delivery performance
  • Negotiate pricing and identify cost saving opportunities
  • Source alternate suppliers to reduce risk and improve supply continuity
Inventory & Production Support
  • Maintain stock levels to support manufacturing throughput
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and ensure accuracy
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock
  • Adjust stock levels based on production demand
Systems & Reporting
  • Update ERP system (4D) with purchasing activity
  • Maintain accurate order tracking in Monday.com
  • Support reporting on stock usage and purchasing trends
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise directly with production and warehouse teams
  • Ensure materials meet quality standards
  • Resolve supplier issues quickly to avoid downtime
  • Coordinate freight and incoming deliveries
About You

You will bring experience from a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment, where timing, accuracy, and supply continuity are critical.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain coordination
  • Background in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or production environments
  • Understanding of lead times, stock management, and production pressures
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data
  • Experience using ERP systems
