We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join the KBT Redevelopment Project on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a critical technical role supporting a major infrastructure redevelopment, offering the opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle.
About the Role
As the KBT Redevelopment Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of integrated project schedules. You will provide specialist scheduling expertise from procurement and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover—ensuring project milestones are achieved on time and aligned with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, baseline, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using industry-standard scheduling software
- Build logic-linked, resource-loaded schedules reflecting full project scope, milestones, and critical path
- Integrate subcontractor schedules, design deliverables, and procurement timelines into the master schedule
- Perform weekly and monthly schedule updates, capturing actual progress and forecasting completion dates
- Conduct critical path, near-critical path, and float analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Undertake delay analyses (e.g., TIA, Windows Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built) and support EOT claims
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate scheduling inputs
- Maintain schedule governance in accordance with project controls frameworks
- Tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ project scheduling experience, including 3+ years on major infrastructure or resource projects ($200M+)
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (essential), plus Microsoft Project and Planview PPM Pro
- Proven ability to develop and manage integrated schedules on complex, multi-discipline projects
- Strong skills in delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments
- Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts (NEC, AS4902, FIDIC), and lifecycle phases
- Advanced MS Excel capability (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, macros/VBA), plus MS Office suite
- Experience with schedule risk tools such as Acumen Risk, @RISK, or Safran Risk
- Work on a large-scale redevelopment project with high impact
