As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of innovation and sector development initiatives across the energy industry. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will contribute to projects that encourage investment, innovation, and economic growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to digital and data-led innovation projects, identifying emerging opportunities across the energy sector.
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of investment and innovation initiatives focused on renewable energy technologies.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement activities and fostering effective partnerships across government, industry, and the innovation sector.
  • Assisting with project planning, coordination, reporting, and administrative activities to ensure successful project outcomes.
About You:
  • Proven experience in project coordination or project management within complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, project documentation, or business cases.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to work.
  • An interest in innovation, technology, renewable energy, or economic development will be highly regarded.

If you're a motivated project professional looking to contribute to innovative initiatives that support Victoria's energy future, we'd love to hear from you.
