Rate:$95–$105 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for extension
Location: Perth CBD with occasional site travel (approximately once per week)

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Engineer to join a global Tier 1 mining organisation and contribute to a high-profile growth and critical minerals development project with international significance. This project is progressing through key development phases and offers exposure from project development through to construction and commissioning activities.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide project engineering and project management support while working closely with engineering, operational, financial and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project engineering and project management activities
- Monitor and assist with project controls, cost tracking and schedule updates
- Coordinate technical vendors, testing programs and document reviews
- Maintain work breakdown structures, deliverables, action and risk registers
- Prepare project reports, presentations and project documentation
- Support capital and operating cost estimate processes
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across internal and external teams
- Assist with day-to-day project coordination and administration
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Project Engineering or similar
- 3–7 years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar role
- Mechanical or Chemical processing background preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting project controls, reporting and documentation processes
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- You must be based in Perth, WA and have full Australian work rights
