We are seeking a experienced and driven Program Managers to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact programs within a government environment. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives on managing complexity, influencing stakeholders, and delivering outcomes at scale.

You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering programs that support organisational priorities, while providing leadership to teams and fostering strong stakeholder relationships across multiple forums.

These roles are full time labour hie contracts until December 2026 and can be based Nationwide with multiple offices present in each state. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and deliver programs with agency-wide impact
  • Oversee and evaluate project outputs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Coordinate the engagement of specialist providers, contractors, and consultants
  • Provide expert advice and technical guidance across program activities
  • Drive strategic planning for long-term program and project initiatives
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks in complex and evolving environments
  • Apply sound judgement to resolve sensitive and high-risk issues
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, promoting a positive team culture
  • Represent the organisation in key internal and external stakeholder settings
  • Prepare and review policy papers, reports, briefings, and correspondence
About You Essential Experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading policy development and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and information
  • Proven experience delivering programs, projects, or reform initiatives within the public sector
  • Experience working with legislation and governance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written communication skills tailored to a government audience
  • Experience in strategic commissioning and program delivery
  • Highly developed problem-solving, conceptual, and decision-making abilities
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Knowledge of the disability sector
  • Understanding of Commonwealth procurement rules
  • Strong governance capability and sound judgement
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment
