Location: Moorebank, Sydney NSW
Work Type: Permanent Fulltime onsite

An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a stable and well-established production environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader who enjoys driving production outcomes, supporting frontline teams, improving operational performance, and maintaining a strong safety culture. You will work closely with the State Manager and play a key role in ensuring production schedules, workforce planning, and operational efficiency targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations
  • Coordinate production schedules and machine utilisation
  • Allocate labour resources effectively across production activities
  • Support and develop supervisors, team leaders and production staff
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, safety and company procedures
  • Participate in production planning and workflow optimisation
  • Collaborate with maintenance and logistics functions
  • Provide operational leadership across a team of approximately 15-20 employees
About You
  • Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar
  • Strong people leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing production schedules and workforce planning
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
  • Strong WHS and operational compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coach and develop frontline leaders
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience within plastics, packaging, injection moulding, industrial manufacturing or similar environments highly regarded
