Are you looking to build on your procurement experience within a State Government environment? This opportunity will see you supporting a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) function within a large Victorian Government organisation.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong administrative or coordination background, with exposure to procurement and an understanding of government frameworks.
About the Role As a Procurement Support Officer – SRM, you will provide administrative and coordination support across supplier management activities.
You will work closely with procurement teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate record keeping, support governance processes, and assist in maintaining effective supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the procurement and SRM function
- Maintain supplier records, contracts, and documentation
- Coordinate supplier meetings, including scheduling and capturing outcomes
- Support procurement processes, reporting, and documentation tracking
- Ensure accurate record keeping in line with Victorian Government Procurement Board (VGPB) requirements
- Assist in tracking supplier performance, KPIs, and compliance obligations
- Support reporting, audit activities, and risk tracking
- Maintain up-to-date systems and procurement data
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support information flow
- Assist in gathering feedback and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the coordination of supplier engagement activities
- Previous experience in an administrative, procurement support, or coordination role
- State Government experience is mandatory
- Understanding of procurement processes and frameworks (VGPB highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
- Exposure to supplier relationship management, contract support, or governance processes
- Experience working in a regulated or public sector environment
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Collaborative and team-focused
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proactive approach to supporting processes and stakeholders
