This role sits within a global procurement function supporting Corporate and Business Functions across a diverse portfolio. It requires strong commercial judgement, the ability to manage risk, and confidence working with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable procurement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead category strategy development and execution across the assigned portfolio
- Own end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including SoW development, RFPs, supplier evaluation and selection
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, including pricing, terms and conditions, risk mitigation and performance measures
- Manage a high volume of active contracts and new procurement requirements concurrently
- Ensure contractual benefits are realised, including cost savings, cost avoidance and performance outcomes
- Lead supplier performance management, including issue resolution, disputes, claims and corrective actions
- Conduct ongoing commercial negotiations to support evolving business needs
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align procurement outcomes with business objectives
- Support regional implementation of global procurement strategies and programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management or Finance
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a similar procurement or commercial role
- Sound business and commercial knowledge, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience developing procurement strategies and negotiating contract terms
- Proven ability to influence and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Strong English communication, time management and problem‑solving skills
- Currently based in Perth, WA with full working rights and ability to attend the office as required
