Join a well-established organisation within the marine engineering and industrial services sector, supporting naval and engineering operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are sourced efficiently to support critical projects.
You will be responsible for identifying procurement requirements, sourcing materials, and managing inventory to support operational teams. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can assess challenges, source solutions, and keep operations moving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials to support project and maintenance needs
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and stock availability
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing
- Identify supply issues and proactively resolve procurement challenges
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and procurement activities
- Support operational teams with material planning and coordination
- Strong experience in procurement and inventory management
- Ability to problem solve and source materials in complex environments
- Experience working in industrial, engineering, or marine sectors preferred
- Strong communication and supplier management skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail
