About the Role
As a Procurement & Contracts Advisor, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end procurement and contract management activities, supporting stakeholders to deliver value-for-money outcomes while effectively managing risk.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading procurement processes from strategy through to award and contract management
- Negotiating and managing multiple contracts simultaneously, typically valued between $5–20M
- Managing 5–8 active contracts at any one time
- Providing clear commercial advice to internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance, and systems
- Building strong working relationships across technical, commercial, and operational teams
To be successful, you will bring:
- A degree in Legal, Commercial, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience negotiating and managing procurement contracts
- Demonstrated experience delivering $5–20M contracts
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to hit the ground running
- Experience managing one or more of the following contract types:
- Equipment and services
- Recruitment and labour hire services
- Engineering and technical services
- MRO and/or NDT projects
- Experience working with ERP systems and procurement/contract management systems (highly regarded)
