Are you passionate about optimising processes and driving operational excellence? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting critical plant operations. This is a hands-on role focused on optimising a critical wastewater treatment plant to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations aligned with environmental requirements.
About the Role
As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in monitoring and improving plant performance, working closely with operations, maintenance, and environmental teams to ensure safe and efficient outcomes.
Your work will directly influence plant reliability, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational stability.
Required Skills
- Experience in process engineering within heavy industry or similar environments
- Strong understanding of process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Ability to analyse data and troubleshoot operational issues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to water or wastewater treatment processes
- Experience with process control systems and data analysis tools
- Continuous improvement certifications (Lean, Six Sigma etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience improving plant performance and efficiency
