About the role
Opportunity for a Principal Project Coordinator to support delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a client-side environment. This role suits someone who brings strong coordination discipline, confidence operating in governance settings, and the ability to keep teams aligned across planning, reporting, risk/issues, and contract-related activities.

You’ll work closely with project leadership and delivery teams to ensure priorities are clear, progress is visible, and project controls are embedded and consistently maintained.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate delivery activities across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and delivery partners
  • Maintain core project controls and documentation (schedules, action registers, meeting packs/minutes, reporting)
  • Support governance rhythms including status reporting and preparation of steering materials
  • Track and manage RAID (risks, actions, issues, dependencies) and escalate when required
  • Support procurement/contract administration processes, including documentation, variations, and vendor coordination
  • Assist with project planning activities such as feasibility inputs, cost planning support, and readiness tracking
  • Build stakeholder clarity through structured communication, RACI-style responsibility alignment, and timely updates

What we’re looking for (ideal background):
This contract will particularly suit candidates who have worked in client-side project management / PMO environments and are comfortable coordinating complex delivery where governance, documentation, and stakeholder management matter.

You’ll bring:
  • Extensive experience in project coordination / PMO / project support on complex programs
  • Strong stakeholder management capability across technical, commercial, and executive audiences
  • Solid understanding of construction/infrastructure or facilities project lifecycles (planning to handover)
  • Confidence supporting contracts administration / superintendent-style processes (or closely partnering with those functions)
  • Strong written communication—able to produce clear updates, packs, registers, and decision documentation
  • A structured approach to planning, reporting, and quality assurance in fast-moving environments

Highly regarded
  • Experience on State Government programs and familiarity with government delivery expectations and controls
  • Knowledge of project delivery models including D&C, ECI, managing contractor, or hybrid environments
  • Exposure to Australian Standard contracts (e.g., AS2124/AS4000/AS4902) and deed/agreement formats
  • Qualifications in construction management, architecture, project management, or contract/commercial law

How to apply:
Submit your CV highlighting your experience in PMO/project coordination, stakeholder engagement, governance routines, and any exposure to contracts administration / superintendent support.
