We’re looking for an experienced Platform Specialist to support and optimise critical enterprise technology platforms that underpin key business services. This is a contract role in Melbourne CBD for an initial six months duration in a hybrid working environment.
This is a hands-on role focused on platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement across a complex, integrated environment.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Support upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity
• Work with internal teams and vendors to drive service improvements
• Monitor platforms and proactively identify optimisation opportunities
What you bring
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as SAP (BASIS) or Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
• Proven ability to resolve system outages and performance issues
• Exposure to DevOps / SRE practices (monitoring, CI/CD, incident management)
• Understanding of APIs and integrations in digital environments
• Experience across platform operations, infrastructure, and applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
Nice to have
• ITIL awareness
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
