We are seeking an organised, customer-focused Administration Officer to provide high-quality administrative support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role
As an Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting operational teams through accurate administration, customer service, data management, invoicing, and general office support. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, records management, and general office duties.
  • Maintain and update databases and records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Create and manage customer requests through internal systems.
  • Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and raise purchase orders.
  • Assist managers and team members with administrative projects and operational tasks as required.
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and support business objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in an administration, clerical, or office support position.
  • Strong data entry and document management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience dealing with customer enquiries and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Desirable
  • Experience working within Local Government.
  • Knowledge of records management and finance systems.
  • Experience using systems such as TRIM, Pathway, Finance One, or similar platforms.
