About the role
In your new role as a Mill Loader, you will support the team in:
- Operating and monitoring feed mill machinery and loading trucks via the control room.
- Loading and unloading bulk feed and raw materials using a forklift.
- Maintaining accurate records of feed ingredients and stock movement.
- Assisting with inventory checks and stock reconciliation.
- Liaising with logistics and production teams to coordinate feed deliveries and loading schedules.
- Ensuring all equipment is checked, cleaned, and maintained according to site procedures.
- Conducting routine quality and safety checks during production and loading.
- Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures and Baiada site policies.
About you
As a Mill Loader, you will bring hands-on experience working in a fast-paced production or feed mill environment. In addition, you will have:
- Availability to commit to flexible 12-hour rotating shifts.
- A current Forklift Licence and relevant experience operating a forklift.
- Entry-level computer skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Appropriate level of physical fitness and stamina to successfully perform the demands of the role.
