Location: Tennyson, QLD
Pay rate:$50–$60 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tennyson. This is a hands-on, site-based trade role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in maintaining plant reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and machinery
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems
- Install, assemble, and commission mechanical equipment
- Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health & safety practices
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
