In these pivotal roles, you will contribute to the clients financial stewardship by delivering high-quality management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis services that support strategic decision-making across the organisations.
As a key member of the financial management team, you will play an active role in driving innovation, improving financial processes, and delivering insights that enhance organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities


Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare timely and accurate internal financial reports, including performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide specialist advice with a focus on assets and the Asset Investment Program to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Undertake complex analysis of financial and non-financial data to deliver meaningful insights and recommendations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the preparation and monitoring of annual recurrent and capital budgets and forward estimates.
  • Ensure a consistent, systematic, and well-planned approach to the budgeting cycle aligned with government requirements.
  • Support agency cash flow management, including preparation of cash budgets and forecasts.
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of innovative management accounting and budgeting solutions.
  • Assist in documenting internal processes, identifying risks, and recommending improvements.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of financial management information systems.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong, service-focused relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide in-depth consultancy on business management practices and financial performance issues.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to support accounting, budgeting, and costing activities.
Leadership & Culture
  • Promote a positive, safe, and healthy work environment, including psychological wellbeing.
  • Apply company health and safety policies and contribute to risk management practices.
  • Actively participate in team initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical capability and a passion for driving improved financial performance. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels to deliver practical, value-adding solutions.
