We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager who knows what it takes to keep a high-output manufacturing plant running — not just on paper, but in real life.

This is a senior leadership role in a 24/7 industrial environment where reliability, safety, and uptime genuinely matter every single day. If the plant slows down, you feel it immediately.

You’ll take ownership of maintenance and engineering across multiple production lines, leading a capable team of trades and engineers while working closely with operations to keep performance where it needs to be.

This isn’t a role where you sit back and oversee reports. You’ll be on the floor, in shutdowns, solving problems, and making decisions that keep production moving.

What you’ll be doing
•    Leading day-to-day maintenance and engineering across a busy manufacturing site
•    Owning shutdowns from planning through to execution (and everything that goes wrong in between)
•    Driving plant reliability, uptime, and performance improvements
•    Leading and developing a mixed technical team of trades and engineers
•    Managing contractors and making sure safety standards are actually followed, not just documented
•    Delivering capital projects that directly impact plant performance
•    Building stronger preventative maintenance systems and improving discipline in how work gets done
•    Working closely with operations to balance production demands with long-term asset health
________________________________________

What you’ll need to bring
•    Experience leading maintenance teams in heavy industry or manufacturing
•    A background in mechanical or electrical trade/engineering (or both)
•    Confidence working in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
•    Strong shutdown and breakdown management experience
•    A track record of improving reliability, not just maintaining status quo
•    Experience delivering capital or improvement projects end-to-end
•    Ability to lead trades and contractors with authority and fairness
•    A practical approach — you understand what actually happens on the floor
________________________________________

What good looks like in this role
•    Equipment runs more reliably because of your decisions
•    Shutdowns are controlled, safe, and well executed
•    Your team is accountable, capable, and clear on expectations
•    Production trusts maintenance to deliver
•    Problems get solved properly, not just patched
________________________________________

What’s on offer
•    Competitive salary + performance incentive
•    Strong operational backing from leadership
•    Long-term stability in a well-established manufacturing environment
•    Career development across a national business
•    Training and ongoing technical upskilling support
•    Employee benefits and support programs

If you want a role where you can actually shape how a plant runs — not just manage it from a distance — this is the kind of environment where your impact will be obvious.
