$55–$60/hr + Super + Overtime
Chandler Macleod is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician with strong PLC fault-finding/programming to join our client in Salisbury. This is a stable, long-term role in a modern manufacturing environment where you’ll make a real impact on plant reliability and uptime.
What you’ll be doing
- Fault-find, troubleshoot and repair PLC / HMI / VSD-controlled equipment
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production assets
- Identify recurring faults and drive reliability / continuous improvement
- Work closely with production and maintenance planning to minimise downtime
- Support safe work systems: permits, risk assessments, isolation/LOTO, SOPs
- Coordinate with contractors and support shutdown/maintenance activities
- Participate in overtime / call-outs / occasional weekend work (as required)
What we’re looking for
Must have
- Current A‑Class Electrical Licence
- Proven industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing/processing ideal)
- Strong PLC fault-finding and hands-on troubleshooting capability
- Good communication and a safety-first mindset
Highly regarded
- PLC/HMI/VSD experience in automated or continuous-process environments
- Forklift, EWP, Confined Space (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliability-centred maintenance / continuous improvement exposure
