This role is available as an ongoing s26 transfer for eligible candidates or a 12 month full time labour hire position.
Key Responsibilities As a Logistics Assurance Officer, you will:
- Conduct compliance testing across business units using established procedures and reporting frameworks
- Assess and report on logistics compliance outcomes
- Provide expert advice on logistics assurance and compliance matters
- Develop and implement plans, processes, and strategies to enhance business outcomes
- Prepare briefs, reports, and correspondence, including recommendations based on audit findings
- Interpret and apply legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation
- Contribute to broader project management activities as required
- Proven experience working within a logistics or supply chain environment
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to improve processes and outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes
- Initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience supporting compliance, audit, or assurance activities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Logistics and supply chain management experience
- Procurement and/or contract management experience
