Chandler Macleod has an exciting opportunity for an experienced International Logistics Coordinator to join a global supply chain and logistics team supporting international freight operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or supply chain coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders across global markets.
As an International Logistics Coordinator, you will support the movement of air and ocean freight shipments from international origin locations into the APAC region.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment movements for international air and ocean freight
- Manage daily communication with logistics providers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates
- Respond to operational enquiries and manage escalations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
- Investigate operational issues and identify root causes
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve shipment exceptions
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, or operations
- Understanding of international freight movements, including air and ocean transport
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
