State Government | Transport & Infrastructure
Join a high-performing team responsible for shaping the future of transport infrastructure investment across the State. We are seeking motivated professionals at both Analyst and Officer levels 5/6 to support road investment planning, infrastructure prioritisation, budget submissions and portfolio investment governance.
These roles play a key part in developing and managing the 10-Year Unfunded Investment Program, Investment Readiness Funding Program, and priority project pipelines, ensuring investment decisions are evidence-based, strategically aligned and funding-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support infrastructure investment planning and portfolio investment processes.
- Prepare and review funding submissions, business cases, project proposals and strategic planning inputs.
- Apply investment prioritisation methodologies and support development of investment recommendations.
- Monitor project readiness, risks, delivery milestones and funding requirements.
- Prepare information for budget submissions, executive briefings, committee papers and reporting.
- Maintain investment records, project information and supporting documentation.
- Build productive relationships with project teams and key internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of investment planning processes, systems and tools.
You will bring:
- Experience in infrastructure planning, project coordination, policy, program management, investment planning or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience preparing reports, funding submissions, business cases or briefing material.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Influence major transport and infrastructure investment decisions.
