About the Roles
HR Consultant (Level 5)
As a senior member of the HR team, you will provide expert advice and support across a range of human resource functions. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders, you will contribute to workforce management initiatives and help deliver best-practice HR services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level HR advice to managers and employees
- Supporting employee relations and case management activities
- Assisting with workforce planning and organisational change initiatives
- Interpreting awards, industrial agreements, policies and legislation
- Preparing reports, briefing notes and HR documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects and HR programs
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR advisory role
- Strong knowledge of HR legislation, policies and practices
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience managing complex HR matters and providing practical solutions
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
This role is ideal for an HR professional looking to build on their experience within a supportive government environment. You will provide operational HR support and play an important role in ensuring efficient delivery of HR services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line HR advice and administrative support
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employment processes
- Maintaining HR records and employee data
- Preparing correspondence and routine HR documentation
- Responding to employee and manager enquiries
- Supporting HR projects and team initiatives as required
- Previous experience in HR administration or HR support
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures and guidelines
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
