About the role:
Working with Rio Tinto, You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of heavy Diesal equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and optimal performance across site. This role suits a proactive tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to preventative maintenance. This is an 8/6 7/7 The roles are for the Workshop team at West Angelas Mobile Equipment. We look after Komatsu 930e and 830e haul trucks and Komatsu/Letourneau loaders. So, experience in these is desirable.
Key Accountabilities:
- Performs maintenance tasks.
- Identifies defects and provide feedback on asset performance and health via the Rio Tinto Business Solution (RTBS), raising notifications and competing work orders.
- Supports the defect elimination process and contributes to the work management analysis and asset tactics reviews.
- Ensures work management activities are undertaken in line with work order/job instructions.
- Undertakes post maintenance equipment commissioning and clean-up.
- Operational Maintenance: Proficient in maintaining operating assets and systems.
- Asset Management: Skilled in identifying defects and providing feedback on asset performance.
- Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Analytical Skills: Capable of contributing to maintenance analysis and optimizing processes.
- Communication: Effective in conveying maintenance-related information to stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Collaborates effectively to support maintenance activities.
- Safety Awareness: Prioritizes safety in all maintenance tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures thorough post-maintenance procedures.
