Rate:$72.12 – $96.15 per hour + super (Depending on Experience)
Contract: Immediate start | Through to end of December
An urgent contract opportunity is available for a Senior Resource Geologist to support Mineral Resource estimation, evaluation and governance for a major mining organisation based in Perth CBD.

This is a Perth‑based, office‑based role and is not a FIFO position. Applicants must be currently living in Perth and hold full Australian work rights.
This role is suited to a resource‑focused geologist(not site‑based mine geology) with direct, hands‑on experience building Mineral Resource Estimates, who can provide technically defensible input across corporate and technical stakeholder groups.
About the Role
- Personally deliver and/or build JORC‑compliant Mineral Resource Estimates
- Review and validate Mineral Resource models and classifications
- Support resource evaluation, technical governance and public reporting
- Provide geological input into mine planning, valuation and value optimisation
- Identify risk and value drivers through interpretation of geological and operational data
- Collaborate across geology, planning, processing and commercial teams
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently
What You Bring
- Degree qualified in Geology (post‑graduate qualifications advantageous)
- 5–10+ years’ hands‑on experience delivering JORC‑compliant Mineral Resource Estimates
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the JORC Code (CP sign-off not required)
- Experience across multiple commodities (base metals, bulk commodities and/or precious metals)
- Strong technical judgement and stakeholder engagement capability
- Currently based in Perth and
- Full Australian work rights
