An urgent contract opportunity is available for a highly experienced Senior Resource Geologist to support JORC‑compliant Mineral Resource estimation, evaluation and value optimisation activities for a major mining organisation based in Perth CBD.
This role suits a geologist with 10–15 years’ experience and demonstrated capability in multi‑commodity resource estimation, public reporting and working across technical and corporate stakeholder groups.
This is not a mine geology or exploration role.

About the role
- Deliver and support Mineral Resource estimation and evaluation across multiple commodities
- Plan, coordinate and prioritise technical activities to meet delivery outcomes
- Contribute to mine planning, valuation and optimisation studies
- Apply sound geological judgement, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Communicate complex technical information across all organisational levels
- Facilitate collaboration and consensus without direct authority
- Uphold a strong commitment to Health, Safety and sustainable development
What You Bring
- Degree in Geology
- Extensive experience in resource estimation and public reporting
- Strong working knowledge of the JORC Code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail‑focused and analytically strong
- Must have full Australian work rights
- Knowledge of mine planning, valuation and value optimisation
- Experience with ASX reporting requirements and public reporting codes
