About the role:
As a General Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for keeping farm buildings, infrastructure and equipment in good working order.
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the farm.
- Complete basic welding, fabrication and carpentry work.
- Assist with servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Undertake painting, concreting and tiling as required.
- Perform general plumbing tasks where a trade qualification is not required.
- Identify maintenance issues and help resolve them efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
- Undertake other maintenance duties as required.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a maintenance, farming, construction or similar role.
- Practical skills and a hands-on approach to work.
- Basic welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- A current driver's licence.
