Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Maintainer to join Rio Tinto’s Paraburdoo Operations.
We are looking for a safety-focused and motivated Fixed Plant Maintainer to support the reliability and performance of fixed plant equipment through the execution of scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities.

This role operates on an 8/6 – 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will
- Provide technical support and advice to Fixed Plant Maintenance and Operations teams
- Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities to maximise the reliability and availability of fixed plant assets.
- Adherence to work management process including – time confirmations
- sub sequence notifications, and maintenance history documentation.
- Timely Fault finding, and maintenance history documentation.
- Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks and activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of all fixed plant equipment and identify potential reliability risks.
- Achieve Safety and environmental performance targets ensure all tasks undertaken align with Rio Tinto Iron Ore and safety environmental systems and policies
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all Rio Tinto health and safety standards, policies and procedures, reporting hazards and risks through the appropriate channels
- Actively identify and contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance safety, reliability, efficiency whilst reducing risk and cost

- Australian-recognised mechanical fitter trade Qualification

- A Manual C-class Australian driver’s licence
