In addition, you will be the liaison point between the Finance community, the Finance Systems & Transformation area, IT teams, business stakeholders and Integration teams for new business. The remit extends across people, process and technology transformation and creates exciting opportunities to deliver real value to Finance and AGL.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be responsible and drive subsets of the S/4 upgrade from inception to completion
- Drive system and process improvement and initiatives/projects from Business Case to Implementation within AGL virtual teams whilst keeping in mind the AGL Governance, Policy and Procedure
- Partner with business units including (but not limited to) Energy Assets, Energy Markets and Development, Customer Markets, Corporate and IT and new businesses to understand their businesses, stakeholder expectations, priorities and challenges in relation to systems/processes and support/coach the stakeholders/virtual teams to be successful by driving end-to-end system and process improvement
- Assist with the integration of new businesses within the AGL group
- Provide individualised coaching and pain point solutions for finance community by one on one discussions and job shadowing, identifying ways of working that create value add, time savings, or quality improvements for the individual.
- Maintain process documentation, training materials and other related artefacts for training delivery
About You
You are a proven finance process and systems professional and strong influencer with demonstrated experience in Finance Projects including the integration of new acquisitions. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships. In addition, you will be improvement oriented with a can-do attitude, with the ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Demonstrated experience in Finance/Projects, and Integration of new acquisitions, with a proven ability to drive efficiency in processes
- SAP S/4HANA Systems user experience and a good understanding of systems processes, configuration and testing. Ideally including SAP FICO, BW, BPC, Project Systems, Assets and Investment Management.
- Ability to learn other systems quickly and identify points of interconnection from both a data and process perspective a must
- Finance CPA/CA qualification and project management experience
- Experience influencing teams not directly under your control
- Achievement and Improvement oriented, with a can-do attitude
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping and documentation
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems and process risks and controls, as well as data governance principles
- Visual Basic, SQL, Power BI highly regarded
