We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Field Technicians for upcoming opportunities with our Tier 1 Mining client across exploration mine sites in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
These roles will see you supporting geology teams in core processing and sampling activities within remote field environments. Ideal candidates will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in physically demanding conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, measuring, marking up, cutting, and photographing drill core
- Preparing and labelling core trays
- Sampling, bagging, and maintaining chain of custody
- Entering data into logging and tracking systems
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised core processing area
About You
- Demonstrated experience in core processing or field technician roles
- Previous exposure to remote mining or exploration environments
- Physically fit and capable of working long shifts in hot conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
- Current forklift ticket
- Manual driver’s licence (4WD experience advantageous)
- First Aid certification (desirable)
Working Conditions
- 12-hour shifts on a rostered basis
- Remote, camp-based accommodation provided
- Outdoor, physically active work in variable weather conditions
