Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Werribee
Contract: Short term until 3 October 2026 (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $43 per hour + super

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to support the management of council buildings and assets across a designated portfolio.
This role focuses on ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained while coordinating contractors and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate site condition audits across assigned facilities
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Carry out minor repairs and adjustments where safe and appropriate
  • Respond to and manage maintenance requests through council systems
  • Oversee administration of work tasks, including financial and invoicing processes
  • Liaise with building operators, tenants, and stakeholders to minimise disruption
  • Monitor contractor performance to ensure service quality and value for money
  • Investigate building issues and prepare detailed reports
  • Support compliance with building regulations, essential services requirements, and asset management standards
  • Assist with maintenance planning and contribute to budget development
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within facilities or building maintenance
  • Strong working knowledge of Building Maintenance, Financial, and Asset Management systems
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure high-quality outcomes
