Executive Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Just outside Tamworth region
Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time (2 days per week)

About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a senior executive leader within a complex and fast-paced organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at managing competing priorities while maintaining absolute confidentiality and professionalism. You will play a critical role in enabling effective leadership by ensuring the smooth coordination of executive workflows, communications, and commitments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive, confidential executive and administrative support to a senior executive leader
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence, including drafting responses and tracking actions
  • Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Screen enquiries and redirect or respond where appropriate
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefings, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate digital records within organisational systems
  • Coordinate meetings and support governance-style forums, including preparation of agendas and follow-up actions
  • Monitor and follow up on requests to ensure timely resolution
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across stakeholders

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives (e.g. CEO, Director or similar)
  • Strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence in using corporate systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capability

Desirable
  • Qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline (Certificate III or IV or higher)
